Our History

FAMILY: Married 29 years to the former Claudia James of Marshall County, Mississippi.  They have have two sons, Eddie II, and Loyce, and one daughter, Shahira. They are the grandparents of six.

PASTORALSHIP: Currently serving his eighth (8th) year as Pastor and Visionary at Clear Creek M.B. Church, Inc. located in Oxford, Mississippi. During these eight (8) years, membership has grown tremendously.  With such a phenomenal growth, he has been the overseer of the construction of a new sanctuary and is in the process of building a daycare facility for both seniors and children and adding more parking.

As for district affairs, Pastor Goliday currently serves as the Moderator of the Tallahatchie-Oxford Baptist Missionary Association in Oxford, Mississippi, where they are also experiencing growth.

EDUCATION: Through the National Baptist Convention, Pastor Goliday is a certified Dean and President where he is also certified to teach many courses. He is also a third year student at the Tennessee School of Religion Theological Seminary in Memphis, Tennessee.

PUBLIC SERVICE: Pastor Goliday is an active servant in the Oxford - Lafayette Community.  He serves as a member of the Greater Oxford Community Foundation. The Greater Oxford Community Foundation is an organization to assist individuals, families, organizations, and corporations to invest in the well-being of the community by supporting the civil, education, health, human services, and cultural activities that improve the quality of life for all Lafayette County/Oxford residents.
